Stainless steel powder 430L (UNS S43000) is a low-carbon, ferritic stainless steel offering corrosion resistance in mildly corrosive environments and atmospheric conditions, comparable to some nickel-containing stainless steels.
Type 430 alloy provides good oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures, is ductile, and maintains stability without significant work-hardening.
430L Stainless Steel Advantages
430L stainless steel powder provides excellent corrosion resistance and good formability, especially in mildly corrosive environments. With low carbon content, it minimizes brittleness while maintaining strength and corrosion resistance.
This alloy is suited in applications requiring cost-effective corrosion resistance without the need for post-process heat treatments.
430L Stainless Steel Powder Applications
430L powder used in a variety of applications where corrosion resistance is more important than strength. These alloys are resistant to attack in a wide variety of corrosion media.
