All incoming raw materials are carefully inspected & tested for conformance to exacting standards while final product samples are tested in accordance with ASTM standard to demonstrate compliance to customer specifications. To support this level of control, our Analytical Laboratory offers an array of analytical testing methods insuring the accurate determination of all required major and minor elements in our materials.
Material Testing
AMETEK SMP Eighty Four analytical laboratory has wet chemistry capabilities and advanced instrumental analytical techniques including Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) to detect trace elements at the lowest levels. Our lab consistently meets and exceeds customer expectations, in a variety of industries, with client confidentially and traceability. Records are controlled within our electronic system and retained for more than 40 years. We work closely with several Nadcap accredited, independent testing laboratories to ensure we meet additional testing validation requirements for our customers.
