410L Stainless Steel Advantages
410L stainless steel powder is a martensitic, low-carbon alloy known for its high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and good wear properties. Its lower carbon content compared to traditional 410 stainless steel improves weldability and reduces brittleness, making it suitable for applications in high-stress and wear-resistant environments.
Carbon Additions: Fractions of graphite can be admixed for increase hardenability in 410 SS powder.

Compacting properties were measured on powder blended with 1% lithium stearate. Sintering was done in dissociated ammonia at 2050°F for 45 minutes.
