clad plate for high pressure vessel in stainless steel & other alloys deliver high corrosion resistance and superior strength

Pressure Vessels

Our roll bonded clad plate products are engineered for demanding ASME pressure vessel, steam boiler and autoclave applications where high corrosion resistance, pressure resistance and structural performance are critical. Using proven roll bonded technology and corrosion resistant alloys, our high strength clad plate is manufactured to exacting pressure vessel specifications and certified to ASTM A263, A264 or A265 for pressure vessel fabrication.
Corrosion Resistant Alloys
We specialize in processing high corrosion resistant alloys and BPVC rated materials for stainless steel pressure vessel manufacturers. Other alloys include:
  • Stainless Steels
  • Nickel and Nickel Alloys
  • Inconel®, Monel®, Hastelloy®
  • Aluminum
  • Carbon steel
  • Titanium
  • Other alloys available upon request

Specifications and Certifications
Typical material requirements are provided per SA264 with shear and bend test 100% UT examined per SA578-Level B, hot rolled and cleaned. Other material requirements can be provided such as + HIC requirements, Simulated PWHT coupons, and Charpy Impact testing. High pressure vessel material can be supplied to meet ASME BPVC Sec II and ASTM A263, A264 or A265.
Sizes
Our clad plate products for pressure vessels are available as:
  • Standard widths to 120” (3048mm) and lengths to 540” (13,716 mm)
  • Thicknesses from 3/16” to 1” (4.76mm to 25.4 mm)
  • Percentage of clad: 5% to 40%
  • Small lot sizes and short lead time

In addition to standard alloys and sizes, our metallurgists can work alongside you to develop custom product specifications.
